This summer has been so beautiful that I could not spend more than an hour at a time in my stamp studio without feeling mother nature calling me to enjoy her summer spoils. It is true that I do have another love beside stamping and playing with paper and that is gardening. I grow my own vegetables and my husband and I plant ALL our landscaping ourselves. We take such pride in what we've accomplished since our arrival in Mount Sinai 19 years ago. Truly we have transformed the place.
Despite the beautiful warm days - I miss the opportunity to spend hours in my studio creating and feeling the fulfillment when you've made something so pleasing to the eye that it lights you up. I can't even put to words how this simple art fills my soul with joy. Weird that paper, stamps and ink can do that.
Anyway - I was able to squeak out this lovely tag in the few moments I stole the other day. In preparation for the holidays not so far away - I start to think of packaging and gift giving décor. Take a simple wine bottle and make it special.
