Today I found out that a good friend died in a car/bicycle accident on August 11th. Felicia Ortiz Ruperto and I first met when she contacted me 5 years or so ago to become a demonstrator. We hit it off immediately and became great friends. I had the pleasure of taking her to Utah for a Stampin' Up! convention a year later and the rest was history. She and I would talk for hours about stamps and other stuff. She was carismatic and was full of life, adventure and fun. I can't tell you how this news today shot me right in the heart as I can envision her talking and giggling and thinking I will no longer be able to hear her voice.
My immediate thoughts were of her children which were her entire world. She spent every minute with them nuturing them and even home schooling them as she wanted to make sure they knew Gods way and prepare them for the world. Here is her memorial piece where you can see Felicia's journey while with us here.
She will be sorely missed and I will pray for her family for strength so they can move forward as she would have wanted them to.

Thanks Cris. The feeling was so mutual. I adored her as well. We had a fabulous time in Utah us girls acting silly. I wish we could have spent more time together. Our time is so short here. But I would have never imagined that hers would have been cut even shorter. I will soooo miss her.

I was a friend of hers Terri and remember how excited she was the day she was getting ready to meet you. She absolutely ADORED you. She also mentione dhow much fun she had with you in Utah - you totally cracked her up - she said you are crazy and she loved it (something about burping uncontrollably?...lol). Thanks for posting this sweet message. She was so special.
